Specialties

  • Anxiety

I specialize in a holistic approach to anxiety, utilizing a bio-psycho-social model, evaluating nutrition, sleep, relational or community support and stressors. I integrate spirituality if desired, and often incorporate mindfulness and breathwork. I will work with you to address current stressors and find immediate relief from anxiety, while also going deeper to identify root causes.

  • EMDR

I utilize attachment-focused EMDR, and have seen incredible results with clients, processing disturbing memories or traumas, while increasing confidence and personal agency. EMDR has been successfully used to treat PTSD, anxiety, depression, phobias, performance enhancement, and more.

  • Grief, Loss & Life Transition

If you’ve lost a loved one or find yourself grieving the end of a relationship or a significant life change, I hope you’ll find a safe space here.

Every life change (whether positive, negative, or neutral) is accompanied by loss. I like to utilize Bill Bridge's model of transition to support my clients in identifying losses, putting supports in place to navigate life's transitions, and begin to thrive in new beginnings.

  • Premarital Counseling

For couples making a lifelong commitment to each other, I utilize Prepare Enrich, a highly validated and strengths-based assessment. I custom each session based on your strengths and growth areas as a couple, incorporating tools from Gottman method and EFT. Premarital counseling is typically concluded in 6-8 sessions.

  • Couples counseling

Whether you've slowly drifted apart and want help reconnecting, or you find yourself fighting about the same issues over and over- there are so many tools available to improve your relationship. I utilize practical tools from Gottman method for better communication and conflict resolution, while identifying deeper emotions and patterns through EFT.

  • Discernment Counseling

A unique, 1-5 session approach for couples where one is “leaning in” to the relationship, and one is “leaning out.” We’ll explore three paths: staying together as-is, staying together and making a commitment to work on the relationship, or separation/divorce. Time will be spent individually evaluating these paths, your own contribution to the relationship’s problems, and sharing where you are in the process with your partner. The goal for discernment counseling is helping both partners have clarity and confidence in the direction of the relationship.
